Can a car audio subwoofer be run on a home amplifier?
Can a car audio sub be run from a home amplifier or will it damage the sub or the amp?

It’ll damage the amp, the impedance will be too low.
yes it will work but i wouldnt recommend it
Only if it’s 8 ohm or a dual 4 ohm sub wired series for 8 ohm.
Car audio is usually 4 ohm load impedances to the amp.
Home audio is usually 8 ohm load impedances to the amp.
